Risk intelligencefor dairy farms
MooNitoring connects the software dairy farms already run and turns years of herd data into standardized risk histories to benefit farmers and insurers.
How it works
The data already exists. We make it comparable and testable
01 / Connect
The software is already running
We read the farm software already running in the parlour: Lely Horizon and T4C, DeLaval DelPro, Afimilk AfiFarm, DairyComp 305 and Sialleva. No new hardware, and no extra work for the farm.
02 / Standardize
One auditable history per farm
We convert daily production, health events, lifecycle events and milk tests into one auditable history per farm. Every value traces back to its source record, with the derivation documented for every system.
03 / Prove
Each farm read on its own history
In a 2025 test on six farms, predictions based on each farm’s history had 60.6% less error than those based on a shared average. The aim is to help insurers improve loss ratios by assessing each farm on its own history.
This was a retrospective, non-blind, repeated backtest on six farms we already observe. It is not an independent blind test, not a validation on an insurer's portfolio, and it did not measure claim frequency, claim cost or loss ratio improvement.Retrospective, repeated backtest on six known farms, without blinding or independent validation. No insurer portfolio validation or measurement of claim frequency, costs or loss ratio improvement.

What we have built so far
Every number here is data our infrastructure has already standardized from the software dairy farms run today.
The record count measures the level of detail in the data, not the size of a herd or sample.
