You run a good farm. Get credit for it.

Turn the data you already keep into proof of how well you run your herd.

Why it matters

  1. Today, your farm is a headcount

Today an insurer's form only asks how many cows you milk. Two farms of the same size get the same price, whatever their records say.

  2. In your records, your farm is different

Years of milk and health records tell farms apart. Here are two real farms from our platform, same size, very different history.

  3. Aiming for above-average farming standards?

The care you give your animals should be reflected in what you pay for insurance. If you agree, we’ll work well together.

How it works

Three steps. Three months. Free.

We connect

To the farm software you already use. Nothing to install, nothing to type.

You read

Every month, a plain-language analysis of your herd: production, health, deaths and culling.

You hold the proof

After three months, a record of how you run your farm, ready for the insurers we work with.

Inside the report

See where your herd stands

Every month you get a one-page report on your herd. It shows your farm against the average of the farms we analyse, year by year since 2013. Here is a sample page.

  • Three lenses. Milk per cow, chronic mastitis, deaths and emergency culls. For each one, your number, the benchmark, and the trend.
  • No names. The other farms appear only as one average line. Nobody can tell which is which.
  • Every number has a source. Each value comes from a record your own software already holds.

FAQ

Questions farmers actually ask

What does it cost?

Nothing for the first three months. In return we ask permission to include your farm's data, standardized and never under your name, in our validation work with insurance stakeholders.

Which farm software do you connect to?

Lely Horizon and T4C, DeLaval DelPro, Afimilk AfiFarm, DairyComp 305, Sialleva and official milk recording. Different software? No problem. We can integrate it free during the test period.

Do I need to install anything or change how I work?

No. We read what your systems already record. No new hardware, no new data entry, and we never write anything back into your software.

Who owns my farm's data?

You do. You decide what is shared and you can stop at any time.

Can I get insurance through this today?

No. MooNitoring is not an insurer and no policy exists to buy, but we're close to delivering the first product in the next few months. Stay tuned!

What happens after the three months?

You keep your reports, and we discuss together whether to continue. Joining the analysis does not lock you into anything beyond what the pilot agreement says.
